My day gecko has a tiny red bump in the crevice of his eye does anyone know what it could be?

i noticed a few days ago my juvenile day gecko had a small red bump by his eye, it is not affecting his eye sight or anything and his eyes are still clear and nothing else seems to be the matter, just this little red bump it almost looks like a pebble of red sand but he has no such things in his viv please help i'm worried. thanks.
