IF the 98 BRONCOS would have played in the 3, 80's SB INSTEAD of the 86, 87, and 89 teams, would they win a SB?

It's hard to say. Sharpe and Rod Smith are not the "3 Amigos", but TD was a better runner than anything the Broncos had in the 80's. Yes I think that TD and a much more mature Elway would have been the difference in a 98 Broncos vs 87 Skins match up. I think Darrell Green would have shut down Rod Smith, but Elway's other target Sharpe would have had a field day. Davis would have found holes all over the Skins D-line to run through setting up the Elway-Sharpe connection.
